FAITH

Romans 4:17-21 NIV.

As it is written, l have made you a father of many nations, He is our father in the sight of God in whom he believed the God who gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they are. Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him "so shall your offspring be". Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead since he was about a hundred years old and that Sarah's womb was also dead. Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what He had promised.

Today we are going to talk about having FAITH in God, above is one of my favourite scripts in the word of God. I'm delighted with the fact that Abraham was fully persuaded the other version says he was fully convinced that God would surely make it come to pass all that He has promised. It clearly shows that God is not a son of man that He should lie. I rest knowing that all the promises in my life are yes and Amen what a Mighty and Faithful God we serve.

Faith according to the Bible is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see Heb 11:1 NIV. Faith is having confidence in what we hope for and the assurance that the Lord is working behind the scenes. The purpose of having FAITH is to cling, depend and act according to God's truths. A person of faith lives her life and strives to please God no matter the circumstances and outward forces.

A person of faith will always see victory all the way refusing to take anything that is contrary to the word of God. Refusing to accommodate pain, the storms of life overwhelm them rather they confess winning and what the word says. The Bible clearly stated in Matt 17:20 that if you have faith as small as a mustard seed you can move mountains. What mountains are you facing in your walk of faith, is it poverty, sickness, barrenness whatever the problem is refuse to give in, the greater one lives in you speak the word upon every situation and you will definitely testify. Quit being stressed out and wondering if it will happen. Have faith in God He has never failed anyone and He is not about to start. In Psalm 20:7 the Bible says that some trusts in horses but as for us ladies our trust is in the Lord Almighty, we are so loved by the greatest force in the universe so your life is one of success Glory!.

I have a sister whom l have been ministering to and encouraging to always stand upon God's promises in the word in anything regarding her life, her name is F.C one day she wrote to me testifying the goodness of the Lord "yesterday l cooked pap and that was the last portion which was left. As we were eating with my family l remembered your words "speak the word in every situation" so l prayed Lord this is the last portion we are eating now l know you always make a way were there seems to be no way. God you are able and you are my provider. Then today two people came to buy car parts that we are selling and we have more than enough of pap and some staff that were almost finishing" l leaped and glorified God He is indeed able, her life is one of unending success wow.

If God is for you ladies nothing and noone can be against you. He is the Master planner the CEO of our lives Jesus is He. And without faith it is impossible to please God.
Often times l look myself in the mirror and say "Ellen be fully convinced that God is able and have power to do whatever He has promised".
And all these trying times we all in of Covid-19 shall come to pass.
Continue meditating on Psalm 23 and 91.

Much Love

Ellen.💖

  2. Bless you Ellen and thank you for your teachings. I personally love Abraham's story for it constantly reminds us how Faith brings victor to dead situation. Abraham did not deny the fact that he was old and his wife s womb was dead BUT he believed that the one who has promised him many children is faithful. It doesn't matter how our situation s are looking but the one we serve Jesus Christ is faithful.
