Overcoming Fear.

A lot of people are living in fear. Fear of dying, fear of loosing loved ones, fear of lack. What ever the case might be, but in all that we have Christ in us the hope of glory, we need to focus on the word of God and overcome fear with Faith.

2 Timothy 1:7 NIV

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity but a spirit of power, of love and of a self discipline.

I love one version which says God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind. Fear is the opposite of Faith, or actually when fear mounts it means Faith has been defeated. We all go through difficult circumstances that tries to drive fear in our lives but let's choose to ignore them and focus on Jesus and continually meditating on the word of God.

Yes the world right now is going through so much pain. But God loves us all regardless of what is transpiring. He is not responsible for the pains and struggles around the whole world. He is for us and nothing can be against us. Fear is just a mirage, we can speak it out of our lives by vocalizing the word of God. Some have even lost their jobs, businesses going through difficulties and closing down. Everywhere people are feeling hopeless because they cannot take care of their families. But listen to me people of God, we are connected to a source that never runs dry Jesus Christ, so all things are possible He can take care of us and He has been.

Oftentimes l hear people refering to other people as useless and lazy just because they are doing better. Listen carefully some lost their jobs and trying to rise again, be mindful of what you utter. If you have someone in your life who always talk fear and reduces you choose to go. It really matters whose report you believe, you are not poor and lazy but Father is rich and will definitely bless you. Doors will open for you trust in the Lord, in due course you will see yourself rejoicing again God is for you.

Psalm 23:4 NIV

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, l will fear no evil for you are with me, your rod and your staff they comfort me.

Trust God's timing for l know that the waiting room is never easy. But always have faith in God, our seasons of pain and hardships make us grow. Jesus is our safe place.

As we celebrate the birth of our Saviour let us remember all He did for us. We are celebrating God's love upon the whole world to send His only son to save us Glory hallelujah.

Merry Christmas and happy holidays from me and my family.
