 Never underestimate the power of prayer. There is power in prayer and we pray in the name of Jesus we are guaranteed to get everything we want. For the word of God says make your requests know to God in prayer and He is so generous to give us all we ask for. What a mighty God we serve and what a loving Father we have. Philippians 4:6-7 NIV Be not be anxious about anything but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving present your requests to God. The bible is clearly telling us not to be anxious about anything but in all things we need to pray to God and He will grant us  all that we desire and all that concerns us.  A Christmas Story by Erika Oosthuizen  - December 16, 2021 Matthew 22 The very first Christmas... so beautiful... You may look around you and find that there is nothing you call your own...but you have Jesus Christ and that's enough you have all you need in this life.  It doesn't matter what we might be going through in life regardless of the circumstances you might be in you are a winner, the greater one lives in you. The world is celebrating Easter, the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. But today as we speak the tomb is empty Jesus is alive He lives in me. He has risen from the dead, He is Lord. Every knee should bow and every tounge confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. It's no longer time to cry as our tradition for the suffering and death of our Master rather to celebrate His resurrection. Jesus conquered death and He is  alive, today we're all free for Jesus took all our transgressions and nailed them to the cross. We were condemned and living under bondage but Christ gave up His life for us to be free. Jesus bore our sins what humility, He is God and offered to take our place He never thought about His supernatural being He loved us all and suffered.  Deuteronomy 20:3-4 NIV He shall say, hear Israel. Today you are going into battle against your enemies. Do not be fainthearted or afraid, do not panic or be terrified by them. As l was studying the book of Esther. I got touched by chapter 4 where Esther agreed to help the Jews. Where Mordecai had to go as far as tearing clothes and put on the sack clothes and put on ashes and was not ashamed to go into the city and cried bitterly for the sake of the Jews. Esther went on to say if l perish l perish.  I have learnt that some situations needs a sacrifice, to go to the extremes of not worried about those around you. Not to care what names people will call, not to care about your friend but to say hey I'm tired of this situation but if l die l die, l will call and cry unto the Lord in every possible manner.  How can l be sick for such a long time, how can my marriage be this bitter. Noooooo let people point fingers at me but Lord l will not leave you until you bless me.  Maybe you are in so much pain that you don't even know what to do.  Jeremiah 33:3   Let your cry come to me, and I will give you an answer, and let you see great things and secret things of which you had no knowledge. God said we must call unto Him and He will answer us. Everytime you call to Jesus He answers and doesn't end there but He will show us great and hidden things that we do not know about. In your health...call unto Jesus, in your marriage call unto Jesus, in your career call unto Jesus, in your business call unto Jesus, is it your children call unto Jesus...He will answer and reveal deep things you don't know. There are hidden things in every situation but will not just reveal them to you..you need to call first before He reveals them. How do we call by praying earnestly to our Father. There are so many times l called and never got an answer, people ignored my call but Jesus every time He answers and He reveals unsearchable mysteries. You don't need some one to reveal these things for you...that's where most of us miss it.....
