 Welcome to 2021, God is able in all His ways, He is never late but always on time.  When God is involved there is no stagnation. Everything works out for your good. We thank God for His peace which surpasses all understanding upon us. As He is and so are we in this world. He has perfected all that concerns us. The greater one lives in us. What no eye has seen and what no ear has heard this are the things the Lord has prepared for us. As l was young and now l'm old l have never seen the righteous forsaken nor their children begging for bread. God is for you and nothing can be against you. Focus on the word of God and He will command His angels concerning us to guard us in all our ways. Trust in the Lord and never lean on your own understanding. We serve a miracle working God.  A lot of people are living in fear. Fear of dying, fear of loosing loved ones, fear of lack. What ever the case might be, but in all that we have Christ in us the hope of glory, we need to focus on the word of God and overcome fear with Faith. 2 Timothy 1:7 NIV For God did not give us a spirit of timidity but a spirit of power, of love and of a self discipline. I love one version which says God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind. Fear is the opposite of Faith, or actually when fear mounts it means Faith has been defeated. We all go through difficult circumstances that tries to drive fear in our lives but let's choose to ignore them and focus on Jesus and continually meditating on the word of God. Yes the world right now is going through so much pain. But God loves us all regardless of what is transpiring. He is not responsible for the pains and struggles around the whole world.  2 Chronicles 20:37. " Because you have joined with Ahaziah, the Lord will destroy what you have made". These words were prophecied to Jehoshaphat by Eliezer. I asked myself why to him? Looking into the previous chapters, he is the man who sought the Lord and God fought for them against the Moabites, Amonites and some of the Meunites. God also fought for him against the King of Syria but in this verse, words of destruction has been said to him. This is very sad, after all these times trusting in God and seeing God in his journey suddenly words of destruction are uttered. These words made me to think deeply about my life as a Christian. I told myself that I don't want to hear such words in my life. The Holy Spirit explained better to me that these words were said because Jehoshaphat had done something wrong. Verse 32 tells us that he did what was right in the sight of the Lord. This made me realise that, if we are not careful we can fail before the Lord, it doesn't mat

 Never underestimate the power of prayer. There is power in prayer and we pray in the name of Jesus we are guaranteed to get everything we want. For the word of God says make your requests know to God in prayer and He is so generous to give us all we ask for. What a mighty God we serve and what a loving Father we have. Philippians 4:6-7 NIV Be not be anxious about anything but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving present your requests to God. And the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. The bible is clearly telling us not to be anxious about anything but in all things we need to pray to God and He will grant us  all that we desire and all that concerns us. There is power in a prayerful person, the evil one doesn't stay in an environment of prayer. So many bible legends were people of prayer and they conquered all.  Numbers 21:34 "Do not fear him, for l have given him into your hand and all his people and his land" There are so many situations that we come across in life and puts fear in us. We fear sickness, death and losing our jobs, to be homeless, divorce etc. People are having sleepless nights because of this thing called fear. Fear does not come from God. It is a tool that is used by the devil to intimidate us and we will end up loosing focus on the things of God. Fear not was written 365 times in the bible which means everyday you start your day, God is reminding you not to fear. It doesn't matter what situation you are facing remind yourself not to fear. Psalm 23 the Lord is your Shepherd, even if you walk through the valley of the shadow of death fear no evil because He is with you.
